Her musical 'Winds of Angkor' is the first western musical to have been performed in Cambodia. The full production, and a documentary film are currently in development.
Sarah grew up in Nottingham and trained at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and City University where she was awarded her Master's Degree. Cello teachers included Keith Harvey (Gabrieli String Quartet) and Raphael Wallfisch. On graduation Sarah won a Fulbright Scholarship to pursue Advanced Studies with Eleonore Schoenfeld at the University of Southern California. Currently a studio musician in Hollywood, Sarah has performed/recorded with numerous artists including ELO (Electric Light Orchestra), Yanni, Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, Ozzie Osbourne and Whitey Houston at the 2009 American Music Awards. TV & movie soundtracks include Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Babylon 5 and Jag. Sarah is composer of the new musical "Winds of Angkor" (www.windsofangkor.com) In addition to teaching privately, Sarah also coaches the young cellists of the National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain.
